Suri Piro MSW, LMSW

As a native of the Washington, DC area, I had the pleasure of attending the University of Maryland for both my undergraduate and graduate work. I earned a B.S. in Public Health with a focus on community health and wellness, as well as a Masters of Social Work with a focus in clinical mental health. My continuing education has included coursework on heart-centered healing, mindfulness, and clinical modalities such as CBT and Psychodynamic theory.  I became a certified LMSW in 2010 and have since run a private practice in the Greater Washington area. Workshops that I have created and led in a variety of forums include the topics of health and wellness, dating and relationships, and self-image.

As a holistically-minded therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
